North American Palladium’s operations and exploration potential represent the long term future of our business. NAP features a unique, world class ore body with modern infrastructure, including both an underground mine and an open pit mine.

Changes made to our mining method have allowed us to increase production and lower costs. We now operate on the sublevel shrinkage (SLS) mining method, replacing the longhole, open stopping method which left ore in remnant pillars and created ground control issues. Moving to the SLS method has increased total ore recovery, lowered operating costs, raised production rate and improved geotechnical ground conditions.
